Welcome to the cyber-home of the Hamilton High School Academy of Music Magnet. This website (made possible by funding from Hamilton High School Academy of Music Foundation and Norm Pattiz) offers a "look into" our fantastic school and for present members of our school community and/or for prospective students and families to have an interactive space to post comments, exchange information and showcase our unbelievable performing arts program through not only photographs but audio and video clips of our students "in action."

I am so proud of the extraordinary dedication of our students and staff, who travel from 96 zip codes around Los Angeles, and who make our school the incredibly special place that it is - there is no better place!

From our early days in 1987, with 300 students and a handful of teachers, we have grown to nearly one thousand students with a staff of 35. From a small experimental program we have grown into a nationally recognized college and performance preparatory school. Our performance groups travel nationally and internationally and are frequently requested to perform for dignitaries - this year alone our Chamber Singers Ensemble will travel to Oklahoma City, OK one of only three high school ensembles invited to sing at the American Choral Directors Association 50th Anniversary National Convention. Under the direction of visionary, passionate and tireless administrators, staff and parents past, we have grown to where we are today and look to our future.
