Introduction to ballet and modern technique, jazz and tap dancing. Group choreography is introduced.
Intermediate Dance 3
designed for the more advanced dancer who has acquired the fundamentals of modern, ballet, and jazz dance techniques; focus on cleanliness of technique and the exploration and development of complex choreographic works; students are expected to create, produce and perform in two major dance recitals.
Intermediate Dance 1 & 2
Continuation of dance skills in ballet, modern, tap, jazz and ethnic dance; projects in choreography are introduced and critiqued; opportunity to perform in two dance recitals.
Advanced Dance Production & Choreograophy
advanced dance ensemble for students who have mastered most areas of dance; focus is on choreography; professional guest teacher(s) give master classes; students perform in two major recitals involving complex use of lighting, props & costuming.
