Voice
Beginning choir teaches basic vocal technique, music reading, musicianship and anatomy as it pertains to the singer; introductory exposure to various styles of choral music.
Women's Ensemble B
Introductory level women’s vocal ensemble; requires good musical and vocal abilities.
Chamber Singers
A small, mixed voice ensemble which sings advanced choral literature, including choral art songs and madrigals; schedule may include tour and recording sessions, as well as participation in competitive and noncompetitive choral festivals.
Women's Ensemble A
Ear training, sight singing, rhythms and choral techniques; exposure to traditional as well as participation in concert performances and regional competitions.
Vocal Jazz Ensemble
Extensive study in the pop/jazz idiom at an advanced level; stresses vocal technique and audience communication; singers must be skilled musicians, capable of performing contemporary harmonies; improvisational skills and microphone technique required; schedule may include tour and recording sessions, as well as participation in competitive and noncompetitive choral festivals; extra rehearsal time required.
