Friends of the Academy of Music and the Performing Arts (FoAMPA)
The Friends of the Academy of Music and Performing Arts (FoAMPA) Booster Club is a parent- and community-supported 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting the performing arts programs at AMPA at Alexander Hamilton High School. We work in partnership with school administrators and arts educators to help ensure students in music, dance, drama, musical theatre, and other performing arts disciplines have access to meaningful, high-quality educational and performance experiences.
Our mission is to support, enhance, and advocate for performing arts education through financial assistance, volunteer involvement, and community engagement. The Booster Club helps fund performances and productions, equipment and materials, workshops and field trips, and other program needs, while working to reduce financial barriers so all students can participate.
Friends of AMPA is made up of parents, guardians, alumni, and community members who believe in the value of arts education. Through collaboration and shared support, we help students develop creativity, confidence, collaboration, and leadership skills that extend far beyond the stage and classroom.
