Our non-profit foundation is the fundraising arm of the academy.
Friends of AMPA is the magnet’s parent based program fundraising organization. As a recognized 501 3(c) FOAMPA sets fundraising goals and raises money for events and materials not provided by district budgets. Performance expenses, instruments, instrument repairs, musical and play royalties, and additional costs associated with concert, play and musical productions are raised from private individual and corporate donations.
Board meetings are scheduled each month in the Academy Music Office. In addition to fundraising, Friends of AMPA is responsible for wider committee organization and leading volunteer efforts. AMPA produces the annual Gala (student showcase and performance awards end of year event). Friends of AMPA also independently supports our web and social media sites.
Friends of AMPA welcomes you and extends an invitation to join us to further support and build our creative community at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts at Hamilton High School.
