AMPA PROGRAM
CHORAL
AMPA’s award-winning Choral program is based on sequential classical training in which students are instructed in music theory; the study of the practices and possibilities of and music reading/comprehension skills. Choral students develop a love of the classical tradition in Women’s C, Women’s B, Women’s A choirs, Men’s Ensemble and Chamber Singers, which is a mixed ensemble. Under the direction of Ms. Wendy Walsh, students are placed by audition. All Choral students take the stage annually in two major concerts, plus many off-campus performances. The Chamber Singers are honored to perform regularly with the Master Chorale at Disney Concert Hall.
