Congratulations to Ms. Walsh and the Hamilton choirs who traveled to San Francisco last weekend to participate in the Forum Music Festival. Chamber Singers and Women’s A placed Gold and were accepted into the Golden State competition for next year. Women’s A scored a 94/100 and Chamber scored a 96/100. Alexandra Cirile won “outstanding soloist” for Women’s A, and Owen Ing, Kenya Lopez, and Daniel Valencia won best percussion ensemble for Chamber. They also sang at Grace Cathedral for a “sing we at pleasure” event where students sang for wondering tourists in the cathedral.
